Under the covers

There’s a whole industry built on the fact that children are scared of the dark.  Throughout all the homes in America you will find night lights, that little flickering flame guiding children through their dreams as they sleep so soundly in their bedrooms.
Unfortunately, night lights don't keep away all the monsters.

The dog barking startled him awake, tearing him out of dreamland, the unfamiliar sound of fear and aggression in his loving little dog's voice. He had never heard the little house dog sound so angry as it howled into the darkness.   All the boy knew in the core of his being was he was scared and that he had to get to his parents room as quickly as possible.  He flew back the covers and moved towards his door that was cracked open. He crossed the small distance to his parents room and with a glance down the hallway, he saw his little dog now flinging it's little white body against the front window still barking furiously. He also noticed as he crossed the hallway the strange brown yellowish light pouring in from the front windows as well as the window in the back door. As the boy came to a stop at the side of his mothers bed, he shook her saying, "mom, mom please wake up!" She awoke and realizing how scared he was asked him foggily, "what’s wrong?" With a small stuttering voice shaken with fear he told her about little Bonnie barking and rushing to the living room and the lights, the lights pouring into the house from all sides.  She got up with her young child and held him while she entered the hallway, darkness, silence from Bonnie.  His sweet mother put the son back into bed with her and explained to him that it must have been the lights from his father's truck as he had left for work.  Even as a young child he realized that the lights of his father’s pick up truck were not strong enough to illuminate up a whole house like a Cathedral of Light.  Not to mention his father's truck would never be the reason for the remainder of his childhood and on into his adult life he feared the light breaking through the darkness.  He preferred the darkness, it meant he was safe.

If you spend anytime in the UFO community it becomes very clear that UFOlogy is divided up into many camps that tend to argue different theories among each other.  Each camp convinced that they are correct on their hypothesis or at least on the right path with the theory that they believe.  (Can you see the Forest, Damn Trees?)  As frustrating as this can be for those like myself that do not choose a camp but rather take in as much data and information as possible, this is one of the true gifts of the community.  This dynamic has allowed so many ideas and progress to be made despite the infighting.  I will propose that the lines that have been drawn currently are unique though, maybe that's a good sign.  We in the community are aware and should also be used to the idea of disclosure being revolutionary for the rest of the world but have we considered that maybe it will be most revolutionary for those closest to the subject?  Should we be any different, if anything disclosure should be the most revolutionary for us, it's "Ours," after all?

I think while we in the community sit around and bicker about this theory or that and which group or researcher is correct we need to begin to prepare ourselves.  The clandestine nature of the phenomenon should be enough to make everyone nervous, especially those of us that understand it best.  Mainly because we might just find out we don't understand it at all, in fact that is the most likely conclusion I would bet.

So keep on fighting with each other if you want, I'm just gonna sit back with a cold drink and continue to watch all this unfold.  I'll watch, listen, and read it all because I don't want to be left behind, I suggest you do the same.  This may be not be disclosure but a Revolution.

Revolution - A dramatic and wide-reaching change in way something works or is organized or in a people's idea about it.
